When you connect social media accounts through OAuth, we collect and store:
- OAuth access tokens and refresh tokens

- For TikTok specifically: TikTok user ID, TikTok username, and TikTok authorization credentials
- For YouTube/Google specifically: YouTube channel ID, channel name, Google account email address, and Google OAuth authorization credentials. We access only the scopes required to upload and manage videos on your connected channel.
- Public profile information (profile picture, bio, follower count)
- Account visibility and connection timestamp
Important: We do NOT store your social media passwords. Passwords remain with the social media platform.
TikTok API Compliance: All data collected through TikTok OAuth is handled in compliance with TikTok's API Terms of Service and Platform Developer Agreement. We collect only the minimum data required to publish content on your behalf.
YouTube/Google API Compliance: Data accessed through the YouTube Data API is used exclusively to upload and manage videos on your connected YouTube channel. We do not use YouTube data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to your content publishing requests. This use complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy.
2.3 Content and Publishing Data
We collect and store:
- Video files and images you upload
- Captions, hashtags, and metadata you provide
- Scheduled publish dates and times
- Publishing history and status
- Queue history and revisions
2.4 Usage and Technical Data
We automatically collect:
- IP address and browser information
- Device type and operating system
- Pages visited and time spent
- Referring page information
- Error logs and performance metrics
- Cookies and similar tracking technologies
3. Data Collection Principles
We adhere to data minimization principles and collect only the information necessary to:

5. OAuth Tokens and Sensitive Data

We will never:
- Share tokens with third parties
- Use tokens to access content beyond what's necessary for publishing
- Store your social media passwords
- Modify your accounts without your explicit action
5A. Google API Services — Limited Use Disclosure
Publish Hub Pro's use of information received from Google APIs, including YouTube Data API, adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Specifically:
- We only use Google user data to provide and improve the features described in this Privacy Policy (video scheduling and publishing to YouTube)
- We do not use Google user data to serve advertising
- We do not allow humans to read your Google user data unless you have given explicit permission, or it is necessary for security purposes, to comply with applicable law, or as part of a merger or acquisition
- We do not transfer Google user data to third parties except as necessary to provide the Service, with your consent, or as required by law
- We do not use or transfer Google user data for purposes unrelated to publishing your content to YouTube
You may revoke Publish Hub Pro's access to your Google account at any time via Google Account Permissions. Upon revocation, we will immediately cease accessing your YouTube data and will delete associated tokens within 30 days.
6. Information Sharing and Disclosure
6.1 Social Media Platforms
When you publish through our Service, your content and metadata are transmitted to the connected social media platforms (TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, etc.) according to their terms and policies. Your content is then subject to each platform's data practices and policies. If your content violates any platform's community guidelines or terms, that platform may take action including content removal or account suspension. We are not responsible for platform-specific enforcement actions.
6.2 Service Providers
We may share limited information with third-party service providers who assist with:
- Cloud hosting and data storage
- Email and notification services
- Analytics and monitoring
- Payment processing (if applicable)
These vendors are contractually bound to protect your data and use it only for purposes of providing services to us.
6.3 Legal Compliance

- Active Accounts: Information is retained while you use the Service
- Publishing History: Queue and publishing records are retained for 1 year for compliance and troubleshooting
- OAuth Tokens: Retained while your account is active; refreshed or deleted upon revocation or account deletion
- Deleted Accounts: Information is deleted within 30 days, except where retention is required by law
9. Your Rights and Choices
9.1 Access and Portability
You have the right to request:
- Access to the personal information we hold about you
- A copy of your data in a portable format
- Confirmation of whether we process your data
9.2 Correction and Deletion
You may request to:
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete information
- Delete your account and associated data
- Have your information removed from our systems
9.3 Revoking OAuth Access
You can revoke our access to your social media accounts at any time through:
- Your account settings in Publish Hub Pro
- The connected social media platform's app permissions section
Upon revocation, we will stop accessing your account and publishing on your behalf.
9.4 Communication Preferences
You may opt out of promotional communications, but we will continue sending essential account and service notifications.
10. Third-Party Links and Services
Our Service may contain links to third-party websites and services operated by other companies. This Privacy Policy does not apply to third-party systems, and we are not responsible for their practices. When you access third-party services, you should review their privacy policies.
11. International Data Transfers
If you are located outside the country where our services are hosted, your data may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in countries other than your country of residence. Content moderation data may be retained longer than normal retention periods if required for legal or regulatory compliance.
